The STAHLWERK ARC 270 ST welding machine with a power of 270 amps is ideal for DC MMA | E-Hand welding. The device can be used flexibly, as no shielding gas is required. In addition, the high-quality welding machine features the latest generation of IGBT technology. The set welding parameters can be easily read on a clear digital display. The various modes can be quickly set using the intuitive menu. An integrated overheating protection and a high-performance cooling system enable the continuous retrieval of the maximum power. A three-phase alternating current of 400 volts supplies the welder and allows an output power of real 270 amps. An adjustable current increase at start-up ensures better ignition results, the arc width can be continuously regulated due to an adjustable spray arc and the automatic shutdown of the welding current prevents the welding electrode from sticking. MMA / Stick electrode welding - an universal welding process. An arc causes the electrode to melt, forming the weld. No protective gas is needed and can therefore be used flexibly anywhere.
IGBT Technology - latest transistor technology enables highest power and a duty cycle of 60% at full power. No transformer, no MOSFET, modern IGBT.
Lightweight & compact design - only 10,3 kg and dimensions of 455 x 220 x 370 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No heavy carrying!

Device Features & Benefits

Hot Arc - Adjustable current increase at start for better ignition results. Prevents the stick electrode from sticking by temporarily superimposing the set welding current and warms up the start of the weld more quickly.
ARC Force - adjustable spray arc with which the arc width can be continuously regulated.
VRD - mode in which the no-load voltage is reduced in order to maintain a constant output even with high welding currents.
Anti-stick - Automatic shutdown of the welding current in case of sticking of the electrode which allows an easy removal. It also prevents annealing of the electrode.
Smart cooling & overheating protection- modern technology, built-in overheat protection and high-performance cooling allow you to get maximum performance.
