The STAHLWERK ARC 200 MD welding device convinces with real 200 amps, single board and IGBT technology of the latest generation. Thanks to the compact design with integrated single board, the device can be used flexibly without having to forego the advantages of IGBT technology - such as a high switching frequency, stable welding currents and high thermal stability. In combination with the optionally available STAHLWERK WP-17V welding torch, the versatile inverter welding machine can be converted into a TIG welder with lift TIG. In addition, the MMA welder also features smart cooling and overheating protection. The ARC welder comes with a 7-year manufacturer's guarantee!

Funktions & Components

MMA / Stick electrode welding - an universal welding process. An arc causes the electrode to melt, forming the weld. No protective gas is needed and can therefore be used flexibly anywhere.
Expandable to a DC TIG welder with our optional WP-17V Universal Lift TIG Torch.
IGBT Technology - latest transistor technology enables highest power. No transformer, no MOSFET, modern IGBT.
Lightweight & compact design - only 3,2 kg and dimensions of 245 x 100 x 160 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No heavy carrying!

IGBT single board - The ARC 200 MD IGBT has an IGBT single board. Thanks to the compact design, welding units with a single board can be used very flexibly without having to forego the advantages of IGBT technology (high switching frequency, stable welding currents, thermal stability).

Device Features & Benefits

Hotstart - Automatic voltage increase upon the start for better ignition results. Prevents the sticking of the stick electrode due to short-term superimposition of the set welding current and warms up the beginning of the weld faster.
Anti-stick - Automatic shutdown of the welding current in case of sticking of the electrode which allows an easy removal. It also prevents annealing of the electrode.
Smart cooling & overheating protection- modern technology, built-in overheat protection and high-performance cooling allow you to get maximum performance.
Note: The unit is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied by a public low-voltage power supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
