The STAHLWERK ARC-200 ST IGBT is a compact electric hand welder with real 200 amps. The advantage of the DC electrode welder, which weighs only 6.3 kg, is that it is compactly built and yet very powerful. The STAHLWERK ARC-200 ST has a hot-start function that automatically increases the welding current for a short time during start-up, thus enabling very good ignition results. Advanced IGBT technology enables maximum performance in manual electric welding. This performance is achieved by 12 IGBT transistors. Should the electrode ever stick, the welding current is automatically reduced thanks to the anti-stick function, so that the electrode can be easily detached from the welding point and does not burn out. The ARC 200 ST also has integrated high-performance smart cooling and overheating protection. The housing is robustly constructed and offers protection against dust and splash water. In addition to a comprehensive accessories package, the ARC-200 ST electrode welder - like all STAHLWERK units - comes with a 7-year warranty.

MMA / Stick electrode welding - an universal welding process. An arc causes the electrode to melt, forming the weld. No protective gas is needed and can therefore be used flexibly anywhere.

IGBT double board - The ARC 200 ST has an IGBT double board. Due to the increased switching frequency of the IGBT transistors on the double board, the welding current remains thermally stable even during longer duty cycles and enables a longer operating time.

Device Features & Benefits

Hotstart - Automatic voltage increase upon the start for better ignition results. Prevents the sticking of the stick electrode due to short-term superimposition of the set welding current and warms up the beginning of the weld faster.
Anti-stick - Automatic shutdown of the welding current in case of sticking of the electrode which allows an easy removal. It also prevents annealing of the electrode.
Smart cooling & overheating protection- modern technology, built-in overheat protection and high-performance cooling allow you to get maximum performance.
