The STAHLWERK MIG-270 ST gas shielded welder operates at up to 270 amps and is suitable for both MIG/MAG welding and E-Hand/MMA welding. The MIG 270 ST offers many advantages. In addition to smart cooling with integrated overheating protection, the welder has a synergic wire feed. The speed of the wire feed is automatically controlled by the set welding current. A 4-roller drive provides a reliable and powerful feed that continuously and safely conveys even thicker welding wires during MIG/MAG welding. Device functions & components

MIG/MAG - Metal arc welding with direct current (DC). Welding can be done with inactive/inert (MIG, e.g. argon) or with active (MAG, e.g._CO2) gases. Gas and welding wire come from one torch head, allowing welding operations to be performed with only one hand.
Synergic wire feed: The wire feed speed is controlled fully automatically via the welding current.
2 in 1 combination unit - MIG/MAG & MMA welding is possible up to 270 A.

Current voltage (volts) - Variable voltage control to manually adjust the burn-in and burn-off of the wire. Thus, the different properties of a wide variety of materials can be acted upon.
Manual wire push-through - no more gas loss or tedious pushing of the wire through. If a new wire roll is to be fed through the hose package, this is done conveniently from the unit using the red wire feed button when the hose package is laid out.
Wire reel - Commercially available wire reels from 5kg to 15kg can be processed here. The spool mandrel can accommodate 50mm spools.
Wire drive roll - by simply changing the drive roll, welding wire from 0.8 to 1.2mm can be processed.
MMA electrode welding / MMA welding - is a universal welding process.
Note: The device is not intended for use in residential areas where the power supply is provided by a public low-voltage supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
