Device functions & components
- MIG/MAG - Metal arc welding with direct current (DC). Welding can be done with inactive/inert (MIG, e.g. argon) or with active (MAG, e.g.CO2) gases. Gas and welding wire come from one torch head, allowing welding operations to be performed with only one hand.
- Synergic wire feed: The wire feed speed is controlled fully automatically via the welding current.
- 2 in 1 combination unit - MIG/MAG & MMA welding is possible up to 175 A.
- IGBT Technology - Latest and most advanced transistor technology enables highest power and duty cycle (ED) at full power! No transformer, no MOSFET, most modern IGBT!
- Lightweight & compact design - only 11.8 kg weight and dimensions of 450 x 240 x 370 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to old MOSFET technology. No more heavy carrying!
Device features & advantages
- Highest efficiency & performance - Single-phase alternating current (230 V) supplies the appliance and allows an output power of 175 amps.
- Smart cooling & overheating protection - State-of-the-art technology, integrated overheating protection and high-performance cooling enable maximum output to be achieved.
- Flux-cored wire - all our ST series devices can use flux-cored wire. This enables welding without shielding gas.
- Automatic wire feed - the speed of the wire feed is automatically regulated by the set welding current.
- Inductivity - infinitely adjustable choke which smoothes the welding current and improves the welding quality and ignition properties.

- Current voltage (volts) - Variable voltage control to manually adjust the burn-in and burn-off of the wire. This means that the various properties of different materials can be taken into account.
- Manual wire feed - no more loss of gas or laborious pushing of the wire through. If a new wire reel is to be fed through the hosepack, this is done conveniently from the device using the red wire feed button when the hosepack is laid out.
- Wire spool - Commercially available wire spools from 1 kg to 5 kg can be processed here. The spool mandrel can take 16 mm & 50 mm spools.
- Wire drive roll - different wire thicknesses can be used by simply changing the drive roll from 0.8 mm & 1.0 mm.
- MMA Electrode Welding / MMA Welding - is a universal welding process.
- Note: The device is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied via a public low-voltage supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
