Device Funktions & Components
- AC/DC TIG welding – Alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC). welding of almost all materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper and many more.
- 2 in 1 combined device – TIG and MMA welding up to 200A.
- Extensive pulse function – TIG PULSE - Prevents the burning of materials and reduces deformation due to heat, particularly suitable for welding thin plates, the material of which may be heated only slightly. Adjustable parameters are: basic current, pulse duty, pulse frequency, long and short pulse.
- IGBT Technology – latest transistor technology enables highest power. No transformer, no MOSFET, modern IGBT.
- Lightweight & compact design – only 12,8 kg and dimensions of 455 x 220 x 370 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No heavy carrying!
- High frequency ignition– allows non-contact ignition and ensures a much better welding result.
- Smart cooling & overheating protection – modern technology, built-in overheat protection and high-performance cooling allow you to get maximum performance.
Device Features & Benefits
- Job memory– The "Job memory" function is used to store previously set individual parameters. Up to 10 templates can be stored.
- 2T/4T (TIG) – determines the control of the operating mode and provides extended control over the current flow. In 2T mode, high-frequency ignition (HF) remains active until the button on the torch is released. In 4T mode the arc is ignited after a single press and release of the button. After pressing and releasing again, the ignition is stopped.
- Start/End Current – prevents voids (end craters) at the end of the weld.
- Gas pre- and -post flow (TIG) – protects the tungsten electrode against excessive wear and protects the weld from oxidation. The parameters can be set individually and separately. They indicate how long before and after ignition gas should flow.

- AC - Balance – is a variable setting between breaking the oxide layer (-) and deeper penetration (+). This helps to influence properties of different materials and alloys.
- AC - Frequency - The weld pool is easier to control and the danger of welding a hole in the sheet is lower.
- Welding current / Basic current - The two rotary knobs “welding current” and “basic current”, two different current intensities can be set for a welding operation between which the welding current always changes.
- Pulse width - With the pulse width, we now set how long the welding current, takes the current intensity of the pulse current before it returns to the normal welding current.
- Pulse frequency - The pulse frequency determines how often the current changed back and forth between the two set values within a fixed time interval.
- Long pulse - The weld becomes wider, the heat input is higher and the penetration is deeper.
- Short pulse - The weld pool is easier to control and the danger of welding a hole in the sheet is lower.
-
Sinusoids / Wave forms - There are three different types of pulse wave forms in the TIG AC range: Rectangle, Sine and Triangle.
- Rectangles: very dynamic arc, high welding speed.
- Sine: soft arc with low noise level.
- Triangle: narrow arc for optimal penetration. - Spot welding - The arc extinguishes automatically after the preset time has elapsed ( 0.1-10 seconds).
- Arc width - With the "arc width", the spread of the arc can be controlled in AC mode.
-
Hotstart / Hot Striking – Voltage increase upon the start for better ignition results.
Anti-stick - Automatic shutdown of the welding current in case of sticking of the electrode which allows an easy removal. It also prevents annealing of the electrode. - TIG (Tungsten-Inert-Gas) – Inert gas welding with inert / inactive gases such as Argon 4.6 (99.996%). An arc is created in an argon bell between the tungsten electrode and the workpiece. This melts the material and any filler material that is supplied. A weld seam is created.
- MMA / Stick electrode welding– is a universal welding process. No protective gas is needed.
Note: The unit is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied by a public low-voltage power supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
