The STAHLWERK AC/DC TIG 200 CUT ST is a powerful TIG welder with MMA or electrode welding function. In addition to the welding function, the AC/DC TIG 200 CUT ST offers a plasma cutting function for material thicknesses of up to 12 mm. One of the many advantages of this 3-in-1 combination welder is its compact design and low weight of only 13.2 kg. In TIG welding, the contactless HF ignition enables comfortable working and better welding results. In plasma cutting, the cutting current is continuously adjustable from 20 to 50 amps. When the cutting process is finished, air automatically flows in to cool the torch. This reduces wear on the nozzle and electrode. State-of-the-art IGBT technology enables maximum performance in plasma cutting, TIG and electric manual welding. In addition to a comprehensive accessories package, the AC/DC TIG 200 CUT ST - like all STAHLWERK units - comes with a 7-year warranty.

Device Funktions & Components

AC/DC TIG welding – Alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC). Welding and cutting of almost all materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper and many more.
Plasma/CUT – With electricity, a plasma jet is generated, which melts the material, which is then removed with compressed air. So all conductive metals such as e.g. steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, titanium and many more can be cut precisely.
3 in 1 combined device – TIG and MMA welding up to 200A, plasma cutting up to 50A.
IGBT Technology – The latest and most modern transistor technology enables high performance welding! No transformer, no MOSFET, state-of-the-art IGBT!

Device Features & Benefits

Lightweight & compact design – only 11,5 kg and dimensions of 455 x 220 x 370 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No heavy carrying!
High frequency ignition – allows non-contact ignition and ensures a much better welding result.
Contact ignition (CUT) – High frequency ignition for an excellent ignition. One stroke over the workpiece is sufficient.
Cutting current (CUT) – stepless adjustment from 15 to 50 A.

AC - Balance (TIG) – is a variable setting between breaking the oxide layer (-) and deeper penetration (+). This helps to influence properties of different materials and alloys.
Gas pre- and -post flow (TIG) – protects the tungsten electrode against excessive wear and protects the weld from oxidation. The parameters can be set individually and separately. They indicate how long before and after ignition gas should flow.
2T/4T (TIG) – determines the control of the operating mode and provides extended control over the current flow. In 2T mode, high-frequency ignition (HF) remains active until the button on the torch is released. In 4T mode the arc is ignited after a single press and release of the button. After pressing and releasing again, the ignition is stopped.
End Current – prevents voids (end craters) at the end of the weld.
Smart cooling & overheating protection – modern technology, built-in overheat protection and high-performance cooling allow you to get maximum performance.
Hotstart – Automatic voltage increase upon the start for better ignition results.
Anti-stick - Automatic shutdown of the welding current in case of sticking of the electrode which allows an easy removal. It also prevents annealing of the electrode.
TIG (Tungsten-Inert-Gas) – Inert gas welding with inert / inactive gases such as Argon 4.6 (99.996%). An arc is created in an argon bell between the tungsten electrode and the workpiece. This melts the material and any filler material that is supplied. A weld seam is created.
MMA / Stick electrode welding– is a universal welding process. No protective gas is needed.
Note:
- The unit is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied by a public low-voltage power supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
