It can be converted into a TIG welder with lift TIG using the optionally available WP-17V. The ARC 200 ST has an IGBT double board. Due to the increased switching frequency of the IGBT transistors on the double board, the welding current remains thermally stable even during longer work cycles and enables a longer operating time.

Funktions & Components

MMA / Stick electrode welding - an universal welding process. An arc causes the electrode to melt, forming the weld. No protective gas is needed and can therefore be used flexibly anywhere.
Expandable to a DC TIG welder with our optional WP-17V Universal Lift TIG Torch.
IGBT Technology - latest transistor technology enables highest power and a duty cycle at full power. No transformer, no MOSFET, modern IGBT.
Lightweight & compact design - only 6,3 kg and dimensions of 390 x 170 x 275 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No heavy carrying!
Highest efficiency & performance - Single phase current (230 V) supplies the device and allows an output power of real 200 amperes.
IGBT double board - The ARC 200 ST has an IGBT double board. Due to the increased switching frequency of the IGBT transistors on the double board, the welding current remains thermally stable even during longer duty cycles and enables a longer operating time.

Device Features & Benefits

Hotstart - Automatic voltage increase upon the start for better ignition results. Prevents the sticking of the stick electrode due to short-term superimposition of the set welding current and warms up the beginning of the weld faster.
Anti-stick - Automatic shutdown of the welding current in case of sticking of the electrode which allows an easy removal. It also prevents annealing of the electrode.
Smart cooling & overheating protection- modern technology, built-in overheat protection and high-performance cooling allow you to get maximum performance.
Note: The unit is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied by a public low-voltage power supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
