In addition to its social, charitable, and nonprofit projects, STAHLWERK particularly supports both grassroots and elite sports. Due to its strong regional roots, sports clubs from the Rhineland are especially supported. Among the partners are 1. FC Köln, FC St. Pauli, Telekom Baskets Bonn, Kölner Haie, and Bonner SC. Furthermore, the company is well known as the title sponsor of the famous football program "STAHLWERK Doppelpass" on Sport1.
FC St. Pauli
Since the 2022/23 season, FC St. Pauli has been receiving support from the Rhineland. In line with the fan friendship between St. Pauli and 1. FC Köln, STAHLWERK proudly supports the charismatic neighborhood club from Hamburg.
Kölner Haie
The Kölner Haie are founding members of the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) and remain active members to this day. Since 1973, the Haie have played continuously in the top division of German ice hockey and have won the German championship eight times.

1. FC Köln - affectionately known as Effzeh by its fans - is noticeably different yet authentic: a club with quirks, edges, and character, where the goat mascot is just as important as the Rhineland carnival.

Since 2021, Telekom Baskets Bonn has been one of our partners. With eight final appearances in the championship and cup in over 20 years of Bundesliga basketball, as well as a Champions League victory, the Baskets are among the most successful teams in Germany.

Bonner SC is arguably the most well-known football club in the city. Its founding generated a great deal of excitement at the time. Since 1965, it has captivated the people of the city and the surrounding communities.
