Device functions & components
- MMA electrode welding / ARC welding - a universal welding process. An electric arc melts the electrode to form the weld seam. No shielding gas is required and can therefore be used flexibly at any location.
- IGBT technology - The latest and most modern transistor technology enables high performance welding! No transformer, no MOSFET, state-of-the-art IGBT!
- Lightweight & compact design - only 12.4 kg weight and dimensions of 451 x 202 x 372 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No more heavy carrying!
- Highest efficiency & performance - Three-phase alternating current (400 V) supplies the device and allows an output power of real 270 amps.
- Digital display: The set welding current is easy to read on the digital display. The various welding modes can be set intuitively.
Device features & advantages
- The welding machine can be extended to a DC TIG welding machine with the optionally available WP-17V universal lift TIG torch.
- Hot Arc - Adjustable current increase at the start for better ignition results. Prevents sticking of the rod electrode and heats up the start of the weld seam more quickly by temporarily superimposing the set welding current.
- ARC Force - Adjustable spray arc with which the arc width can be infinitely adjusted.
- VRD - Mode in which the open circuit voltage is reduced in order to maintain a constant output even at high welding currents.
- Anti-stick - Automatic shutdown of the welding current if the electrode sticks, making it easy to remove. It also prevents the electrode from annealing.
- Smart cooling & overheating protection - State-of-the-art technology, integrated overheating protection and high-performance cooling enable maximum power to be called up.
- Equipped with solid 13 mm professional connection sockets, the device guarantees maximum performance.
- Note: The device is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied via a public low-voltage supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
