Functions
- MMA / E-Hand. Manual electrode welding is a universal welding process as it can be used under almost all conditions.
- Anti-stick. If the electrode sticks to the workpiece, the welding current is automatically reduced. The electrode does not anneal and can be easily detached from the workpiece.
- Hotstart. Automatic voltage increase at the start for better ignition results. Prevents the sticking of the rod electrode by briefly superimposing the set welding current and heats up the start of the weld seam more quickly.
- IGBT technology. Powerful, innovative solution that sets new standards in welding technology.
- Smart cooling. A powerful fan enables maximum duty cycle to be utilized through excellent cooling.
- Overheating protection. Switches on as soon as the device is overloaded. A red control symbol lights up in the display when overheating occurs and goes out as soon as the appliance has cooled down again.
- The tool and equipment trolley included in the scope of delivery offers space for the welding machine and many accessories.
Features & benefits
- Lift TIG mode. With contact ignition, ignition is achieved by briefly touching the electrode to the workpiece. When the torch is lifted, the arc is created and the welding machine's electronics increase the current to the set welding amperage. To end the welding process, remove the torch from the workpiece.
- VRD (Voltage Reduction Device). Manual switching on/off of the VRD function enables the output voltage of the welding machine to be reduced to a safe level to protect the operator when touching the electrode while welding is not taking place.
- ARC-Force function. Monitors and stabilizes the arc voltage when the molten weld droplets transfer from the electrode to the weld pool or when the arc voltage drops. This prevents the arc from going out.
- Welding current. Infinitely variable between 10-200 A. A current of 30-40 A per mm of material thickness is recommended.
- Presetting the electrode size. By selecting the electrode diameter, the optimum welding parameters are automatically set according to the preset reference value.
- Equipped with solid 13 mm professional connection sockets, the device guarantees maximum performance.
