Functions
- MMA / E-Hand. Electrode hand welding is a universal welding process, as it can be used in almost all conditions.
- Extensive pulse function in MMA and Lift-TIG mode, which prevents burning through materials and significantly reduces deformation due to heat. In this way, the inverter ensures excellent welding results.
- Anti-stick. In the event of sticking of the electrode to the workpiece, the welding current is automatically reduced. The electrode does not glow out and can be easily detached from the workpiece.
- Hotstart. Automatic voltage increase at start-up for better ignition results. Prevents sticking of the stick electrode by briefly superimposing the set welding current and heats up the start of the weld more quickly.
- Intelligent temperature control. The fan is switched on and off only when required. This saves energy and avoids noise emissions.
- IGBT technology. Powerful, innovative solution that sets new standards in welding technology.
- Smart cooling. A powerful fan enables maximum duty cycle to be exploited through excellent cooling.
Features & Advantages
- Overheat protection. Springs into action as soon as the unit is overloaded. A yellow pilot light illuminates when overheated and goes out when the unit cools down.
- Lift TIG mode. In contact ignition, ignition is achieved by briefly brushing the electrode against the workpiece. When the torch is lifted, the arc is created and the electronics of the welding machine increase the current to the set welding current intensity. To end the welding process, remove the torch from the workpiece.
- Welding current. Infinitely variable between 10-200 A. A current of 30-40 A per mm of material thickness is recommended.
- VRD (Voltage Reduction Device). Manual on/off of the VRD function allows the output voltage of the welding machine to be lowered to a safe level to protect the operator when touching the electrode while not welding.
- Arc Length Limitation. The Arc Length Limitation function stops the welding process when an excessive arc voltage is detected (unusually high gap between the electrode and the workpiece). This function can be set in the corresponding expert menu depending on the process.
- MMA welding and TIG welding. The arc length limitation cannot be used for the cel characteristic (if present).
