The STAHLWERK ARC 270 ST welding machine is ideal for DC MMA | MMA welding with an output of 270 amps. The device can be used flexibly as no shielding gas is required. The high-quality welding machine also features the latest generation of state-of-the-art IGBT technology. The set welding parameters can be easily read on a clear digital display. The various modes can be set quickly using the intuitive menu. Integrated overheating protection and high-performance cooling enable the maximum power to be called up continuously. A three-phase alternating current of 400 volts supplies the welding machine and allows an output power of 270 amps.

Device functions & components

MMA electrode welding / ARC welding - a universal welding process. An electric arc melts the electrode to form the weld seam. No shielding gas is required and can therefore be used flexibly at any location.
IGBT technology - The latest and most modern transistor technology enables the highest performance and duty cycle (ED) of 60% at full power! No transformer, no MOSFET, state-of-the-art IGBT!
Lightweight & compact design - only 10.3 kg weight and dimensions of 455 x 220 x 370 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No more heavy carrying!
Highest efficiency & performance - Three-phase alternating current (400 V) supplies the device and allows an output power of real 270 amps.
Digital display: The set welding parameters can be easily read on a clear digital display. The various modes can be set quickly using the intuitive menu.
Hot Arc - Adjustable current increase at the start for better ignition results. Prevents the sticking of the rod electrode and heats up the start of the weld seam more quickly by temporarily superimposing the set welding current.
ARC Force - Adjustable spray arc with which the arc width can be infinitely adjusted.

VRD - Mode in which the open circuit voltage is reduced to maintain a constant output even at high welding currents.
Anti-stick - Automatic shutdown of the welding current when the electrode sticks, enabling easy removal. It also prevents the electrode from annealing.
Equipped with solid 13 mm professional connection sockets, the device ensures maximum performance.
Smart cooling & overheating protection - State-of-the-art technology, integrated overheating protection and high-performance cooling enable maximum performance to be achieved.
