Device functions & components
- MIG/MAG - gas metal arc welding with direct current (DC). Welding can be carried out with inactive/inert (MIG, e.g. argon) or active (MAG, e.g.CO2) gases. Gas and welding wire come from one torch head and enable welding work to be carried out with just one hand.
- Synergic wire feed: The wire feed speed is controlled fully automatically via the welding current.
- 2 in 1 combination device - MIG/MAG & MMA welding is possible up to 135 A.
- IGBT technology - The latest and most modern transistor technology enables maximum power and duty cycle (ED) at full power! No transformer, no MOSFET, state-of-the-art IGBT!
- Lightweight & compact design - only 11.6 kg weight and dimensions of 450 x 240 x 370 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No more heavy carrying!
Device features & benefits
- Highest efficiency & performance - Single-phase alternating current (230V) supplies the appliance and allows an output power of 135 amps.
- Smart cooling & overheating protection - State-of-the-art technology, integrated overheating protection and high-performance cooling enable maximum output to be achieved.
- Flux-cored wire - all our ST series devices can use flux-cored wire. This enables welding without shielding gas.
- Automatic wire feed - the speed of the wire feed is automatically regulated by the set welding current.
- Inductivity - infinitely adjustable choke which smoothes the welding current and improves the welding quality and ignition properties.
- Current voltage (volts) - Variable voltage control to manually adjust the burn-in and burn-off of the wire. Thus, the different properties of a wide variety of materials can be acted upon.
- Manual wire push-through - no more gas loss or tedious pushing of the wire through. If a new wire roll is to be fed through the hose package, this is done conveniently from the unit using the red wire feed button when the hose package is laid out.
- Wire reel - Commercially available wire reels from 1kg to 5kg can be processed here. The spool mandrel can accommodate 16mm & 50mm spools.
- Wire drive roller - by simply changing the drive roller from 0.6mm & 0.8mm & 1.0mm, different wire thicknesses can be used.
- MMA electrode welding / MMA welding - is a universal welding process. No shielding gas is needed.
- Note: The unit is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied by a public low-voltage power system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
