The STAHLWERK MIG-155 ST gas-shielded arc welder works with up to 155 amps and is suitable for both MIG/MAG welding and MMA welding with an electrode. One advantage of this compact welding machine, which weighs just 11.6 kg, is that flux cored wire can be used. This means that even thin sheets can be welded without shielding gas. In addition to smart cooling with integrated overheating protection, the combi welder has a synergic wire feed. The speed of the wire feed is automatically regulated by the set welding current. Device functions & components

MIG/MAG - Metal arc welding with direct current (DC). Welding can be done with inactive/inert (MIG, e.g. argon) or with active (MAG, e.g._CO2) gases. Gas and welding wire come from one torch head, allowing welding operations to be performed with only one hand.
Synergic wire feed: The wire feed speed is controlled fully automatically via the welding current.
2 in 1 combination unit - MIG/MAG & MMA welding is possible up to 155 A.

Flux-Cored Wire - All of our ST Series units can use flux-cored wire. This allows welding without shielding gas.
Automatic wire feed - the speed of the wire feed is automatically controlled by the set welding current.
Inductance - continuously adjustable choke, which smoothes the welding current and improves the welding quality and ignition characteristics.

Current voltage (volts) - Variable voltage control to manually adjust the burn-in and burn-off of the wire. Thus, the different properties of a wide variety of materials can be acted upon.
Manual wire push-through - no more gas loss or tedious pushing of the wire through. If a new wire roll is to be fed through the hose package, this is done conveniently from the unit using the red wire feed button when the hose package is laid out.
Wire reel - Commercially available wire reels from 1kg to 5kg can be processed here. The spool mandrel can accommodate 16mm & 50mm spools.
Wire drive roller - by simply changing the drive roller from 0.6mm & 0.8mm & 1.0mm, different wire thicknesses can be used.
MMA electrode welding / MMA welding - is a universal welding process. No shielding gas is needed.
Note: The unit is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied by a public low-voltage power system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
