Functions
- DC TIG welding - DC TIG for welding steel, stainless steel, copper, brass and many other metals. The infinitely adjustable welding current of 10-200 A enables sensitive adjustment to the material and sheet thickness.
- AC TIG welding - AC TIG especially for aluminum and aluminum alloys. AC frequency, AC balance and cleaning current can be individually adjusted to optimally match penetration, seam shape and cleaning effect to the workpiece.
- MMA/E manual welding - electrode welding with a current range of 30-160 A, suitable for many common stick electrodes. Hotstart facilitates ignition, anti-stick reduces the electrode sticking to the workpiece.
- Clean mode - Special mode for electrochemical cleaning of stainless steel weld seams. Tarnish and oxide layers can be removed with a carbon fiber brush and suitable electrolyte; the current intensity is selected depending on the degree of soiling and seam size. The necessary carbon fiber brush and suitable electrolyte are not included in the scope of delivery.
- HF ignition (TIG) - Contactless high-frequency ignition ensures convenient arc starting, protects the tungsten electrode and workpiece and makes it easier to work in hard-to-reach areas.
- Job memory (0-9) - Up to ten complete parameter sets can be saved directly in the device and called up at the touch of a button - ideal for recurring jobs and different material/seam combinations.
- 2T/4T operation - either press and hold the button (4T) for long weld seams or press and hold the button (2T) for short seams; the start, welding and end current sequences can be controlled particularly conveniently. The device also has a remote connection for operating a WP26FR hosepack (not included in the scope of delivery).
- Spot welding & repeat function - Spot mode for precise spot welding of thin sheets with pre-settable spot duration; repeat function enables recurring welding cycles without completely interrupting the current flow - ideal for uniform beads and serial work.
- Flexible parameter setting - gas advance (0-2 s), current increase, welding current, current reduction (up to 25 s), final current and gas follow-up can be individually adjusted and allow precise control of the current curve and seam formation.
- IGBT inverter technology - Modern high-performance electronics ensure a compact design, high energy efficiency and stable arcs with reduced power consumption.
- Digital LED color display & logically structured control panel - All important parameters are clearly displayed and can be set quickly with just a few buttons and a central rotary control - ideal for daily use and recurring tasks.
- Four AC waveforms - rectangular, triangular, trapezoidal and sine wave are available for selection and influence penetration, seam width and noise behavior. This allows the welding characteristics to be optimally adapted to the material and application.
- Precise control of the welding curve - Adjustable start, welding and end current, current increase and decrease enable controlled seam run-outs and avoid end craters, especially with demanding TIG seams.
- Smart cooling & ST-Guard housing - A powerful fan enables high duty cycles, while the robust ST-Guard housing ensures an ergonomic, reliable design and good protection of the components.
- Compact dimensions & low weight - With 12.7 kg and housing dimensions of 449 × 238 × 437 mm, the device is easy to transport and is suitable for both stationary and mobile applications.
- Note: The device is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied via a public low-voltage supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
