Manufactured with an extremely hard titanium nitride coating (TiN), the HSS step drills master every challenge. The precision-ground tapered drill bits drill reliably into the metal to be processed. Thanks to the durable TiN coating, the countersink drills are heat-resistant, wear-resistant and guarantee a long service life. The coated step drills have a tool life that is up to 400% longer than conventional HSS drills and are suitable for alloyed and non-alloyed steels such as cast iron, non-ferrous metals and plastics. The metal drill bits are supplied in a robust aluminum case for safe transport. The different cone sizes are clearly listed both on the tapered drill bits themselves and in the aluminum case. The complete set consists of 5 step drills in different sizes and a high-quality automatic center punch.
