The STAHLWERK BD-550 ST upright and pillar drill is a powerful workshop drill for the metal sector and suitable for demanding DIY enthusiasts. With an output of 550 watts and a drilling diameter of up to 16 mm, the pillar drill enables precise drilling in wood, metal and plastic. The ball-bearing mounted drill spindle ensures smooth running and stability. The drill table is height-adjustable via a rack and pinion guide and can be precisely tilted and swiveled. The drill has a folding chip guard and a sturdy metal base for safe working. The toothed ring drill chuck with a clamping range of 3 to 16 mm holds drill bits securely in place. The speed of the drill can be adjusted from 200 - 2,800 rpm via belt pulleys. The three-armed, side-mounted feed lever enables optimum adjustment of the contact pressure and quick venting of the drill hole during cooling. An easily adjustable depth stop ensures reproducible drilling depths.
