The tool and impact socket set contains five 1/2" impact sockets made of chrome-molybdenum steel (CrMo) in common metric sizes: 15 mm (green), 17 mm (blue), 19 mm (gold), 21 mm (red) and 22 mm (purple). CrMo is designed for use with impact wrenches and offers high impact resistance and load capacity at high torques - generally more robust than many CrV or simple carbon steel sockets. A color-coded coating makes it easier to quickly identify the sizes and provides additional corrosion protection. The size indication on the color-coded base enables quick identification and reduces errors. The scratch-resistant protective coating helps to protect rims and wheel nuts from damage during installation and removal. The deep profile also makes it easier to reach deeper-seated wheel nuts or longer fastening elements. The hexagonal profile (6-point) transfers the force to the flanks of the nut, which reduces the risk of rounding off at high torques.
