The STAHLWERK electrolyte cleaner enables the clean, residue-free cleaning of weld seams. The cleaner can be optimally used with the STAHLWERK weld seam cleaning device SRG-300 as well as with devices from other manufacturers. The electrolyte cleaner is used to remove blue tarnish from weld seams on stainless steel and is applied with a carbon fiber brush before the weld seam is coated. When applying, make sure that the solution is allowed to act on the metal. The exposure time depends on the type and strength of the contamination. The cleaning process is shortened by mechanically supporting the cleaning with a sponge or brush. The dissolved dirt can be rinsed or sprayed off with water after application. The electrolyte cleaner convinces by high passivation properties. The passivation layer of the metal surface is quickly restored and corrosion is sustainably prevented.
