The SRG 300 Pro is a compact, electronic weld seam cleaning device for electrochemical cleaning and passivation of weld seams and metallic surfaces. Specially developed for stainless steel, it removes tarnish, oxide residue and discoloration from weld seams and produces a bright, passivated metallic surface. Ideal for visually demanding visible seams and components with high corrosion requirements. In contrast to conventional pickling processes, the SRG 300 Pro does not use highly aggressive acids such as nitric, fluoric or sulphuric acid. Instead, a suitable electrolyte is used in combination with a conductive carbon fiber brush, which is activated by an electric current. This results in a controlled, gentle cleaning process without mechanical abrasion, as is the case with grinding, which smoothes and passivates the surface at the same time. With an adjustable output current of 10-30 A, the cleaning performance can be adapted to the size/surface and degree of soiling of the weld seam - from fine tarnish to heavy oxidation. Weighing just 2.2 kg, the device with its compact dimensions, carrying strap and 230 V mains connection is perfect for flexible use in the workshop, production or for mobile service work.

Properties

Electrochemical cleaning & passivation: Removes tarnish, oxides and discoloration from stainless steel weld seams and comparable surfaces and produces a bright, corrosion-resistant surface - ideal for decorative and hygiene-critical applications.
Gentle, material-preserving & economical: no grinding, no mechanical material removal, edges and seam geometry are retained. Less reworking (grinding/polishing) and longer corrosion resistance of the seam.
No highly concentrated acids: No need for highly corrosive pickling acids such as nitric, fluoric or sulphuric acid - lower hazard potential than conventional pickling processes (protective clothing is still required).
Infinitely adjustable cleaning current (10-30 A): Adaptation of power to seam size and degree of soiling, with digital display for reproducible results.
Easy to use with carbon fiber brush & electrolyte: Cleaning with conductive carbon fiber brush and electrolyte, lightly moistened and guided over the seam with low pressure. Residues are simply wiped off and gently re-treated.
Suitable for industrial and workshop use: Robust design, protection class IP21S and wide operating temperature range - suitable for industrial and non-industrial applications wherever clean, corrosion-resistant welded joints are required.
Compact, lightweight & mobile: Only 2.2 kg, small dimensions and carrying strap for easy transportation, convenient handling as well as easy cleaning and dry storage of the device and accessories.
Safety & protective functions: Overheating LED, fan cooling and detailed warnings about electrolyte, risk of burns and fire/explosion support safe operation.
