Functions
- Flux-cored wire welding (FLUX): Welding without shielding gas. Welding with flux-cored wire is based on a similar process to MIG MAG welding, with the difference that no shielding gas needs to be supplied in this process.
- Synergic wire feed: The wire feed speed is controlled fully automatically via the welding current.
- Digital display: The welding parameters are easy to read on the clear digital display. The various modes and welding processes can be set quickly thanks to the intuitive menu navigation.
- IGBT technology: State-of-the-art transistor technology of the latest generation enables maximum performance and duty cycle (ED) at full power! No transformer, no MOSFET, state-of-the-art IGBT!
- Lightweight & compact design: Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No more heavy carrying!
- Highest efficiency & performance: Single-phase alternating current (230 V) supplies the device and allows an output power of 120 amps.
Features & Benefits
- Smart Cooling & Overheating Protection: State-of-the-art technology, built-in overheating protection, and high-performance cooling enable the welder to deliver maximum performance.
- Wire Spool Compatibility: Standard wire spools ranging from 0.45 kg to 1 kg can be used with this welding machine. The spool mandrel is designed for 16 mm spools.
- Wire Feed Roller: By simply switching the drive roller between 0.6 mm – 0.8 mm and 0.8 mm – 1.0 mm, you can use various wire gauges in the sizes 0.6 mm, 0.8 mm, 0.9 mm, and 1.0 mm.
- As a special feature, the welder has an integrated LED light to illuminate the housing, which allows for quick replacement of the wire spool even in poor visibility conditions. The light turns on automatically when the protective flap is opened.
- Lift-TIG Function: When used in combination with the optionally available STAHLWERK WP-17V welding torch, this versatile welder can be converted into a TIG welder with Lift-TIG capability.
Note: The unit is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied via a public low-voltage power grid. Ensuring electromagnetic compatibility in these areas may be difficult due to both conducted and radiated interference.
