The STAHLWERK MIG MAG 200 ST Digital welding machine has a synergic wire feed, works with up to 200 A and is suitable for both MIG MAG welding and MMA/ARC applications. In addition, FLUX cored wire can be processed, so welding without shielding gas is also possible. The welding parameters can be easily read on a clear digital display. The various modes can be set quickly using the intuitive menu. Equipped with the latest generation of state-of-the-art IGBT technology, the inverters offer outstanding welding properties thanks to higher efficiency and reduced power consumption. Thanks to optimum performance parameters, the versatile welding machines can be used for almost all requirements and always ensure perfect work results. Functions

MIG MAG - gas metal arc welding with direct current (DC). Welding can be carried out with inactive/inert (MIG: e.g. argon) or active (MAG: e.g. CO2) gases. Gas and welding wire come from one torch head and enable welding work to be carried out with just one hand.
The set welding parameters can be easily read on a clear digital display. The various modes can be set quickly using the intuitive menu.
Synergic wire feed: The wire feed speed is controlled fully automatically via the welding current.
2 in 1 combination unit - MIG MAG and MMA welding is possible up to 200 amps.
IGBT technology - The latest and most modern transistor technology enables maximum power and duty cycle (ED)! No transformer, no MOSFET, state-of-the-art IGBT!
Lightweight & compact design - Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No more heavy carrying!
Highest efficiency & performance - Single-phase alternating current (230 V) supplies the device and allows an output power of real 200 amps.
Smart cooling & overheating protection - Integrated overheating protection and high performance cooling enable maximum power to be called up.
2T/4T - determines the control of the operating mode and offers extended control over the current flow. In 2T mode, the ignition remains active until the button on the burner is released. In 4T mode, the arc is ignited after pressing and releasing the button once. After pressing and releasing the button again, ignition is terminated.
The spot welding function is particularly suitable for thin car body parts. As a result, the tacking points are precisely reproducible and uniform. The spot function means that very little heat is transferred to the workpiece, resulting in less distortion.

Features & benefits

Flux-cored wire - all our ST series devices can use flux-cored wire. This enables welding without shielding gas.
Inductance - infinitely adjustable choke which smoothes the welding current and improves the welding quality and ignition properties.
Current voltage (volts) - Variable voltage control to manually adjust the penetration and burn-off of the wire. This can be used to influence the various properties of different materials.
Manual wire feed - no more loss of gas or laborious pushing of the wire through. If a new wire reel is to be fed through the hosepack, this is done conveniently from the device using the red wire feed button when the hosepack is laid out.
Wire spool - Commercially available wire spools from 1 kg to 5 kg can be processed here. The spool mandrel can accommodate 16 mm and 50 mm spools.
Wire drive roll - different wire thicknesses can be used by simply changing the drive roll from 0.6 mm, 0.8 mm and 1.0 mm.
MMA electrode welding / MMA welding - is a universal welding process for welding with electrodes.
Note: The device is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied via a public low-voltage supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
