Functions
- MMA electrode welding / ARC welding - a universal welding process. An electric arc melts the electrode to form the weld seam. No shielding gas is required and can therefore be used flexibly at any location.
- With our optionally available WP-17V Universal Lift TIG torch, it can be expanded to a DC TIG welding unit.
- The set welding parameters can be easily read on a clear digital display. The various modes can be set quickly using the intuitive menu.
- IGBT technology - The latest and most modern transistor technology enables maximum performance and duty cycle at full power! No transformer, no MOSFET, state-of-the-art IGBT!
- Lightweight & compact design - only 3.2 kg weight and dimensions of 245 x 100 x 160 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No more heavy carrying!
- Highest efficiency & performance - single-phase alternating current (230V) supplies the device and allows an output power of real 200 amps.
Features & advantages
- IGBT single board - The ARC 200 MD IGBT has an IGBT single board. Thanks to the compact design, welding units with a single board can be used very flexibly without sacrificing the advantages of IGBT technology (high switching frequency, stable welding currents, thermal stability).
- Hotstart - Automatic voltage increase at start for better ignition results. Prevents the sticking of the rod electrode and heats up the start of the weld seam more quickly by briefly superimposing the set welding current.
- Anti-stick - Automatic shutdown of the welding current if the electrode sticks, making it easy to remove. It also prevents the electrode from annealing.
- Smart cooling & overheating protection - State-of-the-art technology, integrated overheating protection and high-performance cooling enable maximum power to be called up.
Note: The device is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied via a public low-voltage supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
