The STAHLWERK ST-450 RC in carbon look is a high-quality, fully automatic welding helmet, which is particularly suitable for beginners in the field of welding and plasma cutting. It has all the requirements and adjustment options needed for such work. The darkening levels can be set in the range between DIN 9 to DIN 13, so that the highest level of safety is guaranteed for almost all welding processes due to a short reaction time. Within 1/10,000 of a second, the filter cassette automatically darkens to the set DIN level. The sensitivity is continuously adjustable and regulates from which brightness the filter cassette dims down. The fade-in and release of the field of view can be controlled via the continuously adjustable delay function. The field of view of the filter cassette measures 92.5 x 42.5 mm and allows a comprehensive view of the working area and workpiece. With the help of the comfortable headband, the helmet can be adjusted to almost any head size. Thanks to the padding on the front and the low weight of only 500 or 480 grams, the helmet offers a high level of wearing comfort. Thanks to the field of view, you always have a good overview of the workpiece thanks to its size of 92.5 mm x 42.5 mm. The filter cassette has a holder for dioptric lenses. Goggles under the helmet can then be dispensed with.
