The STAHLWERK MIG MAG 200 ST Puls Pro Digital is a gas-shielded welding machine for aluminum welding and other processes that works fully synergically with up to 200 amps. The combination welding machine is equipped with the latest generation of state-of-the-art IGBT technology, is ideal for MIG/MAG welding and also has a lift TIG function. Electrode welding and welding without shielding gas with FLUX filler wire are also possible. The welding machine has a MIG pulse function for welding aluminum. An integrated spot function is used for spot welding thin sheets and car body parts. CuSi soldering is also possible in the aluminum-silicon program. The various modes can be set quickly using the intuitive menu. The selected welding parameters are easy to read on the clear digital display. A special highlight is the integrated LED light for illuminating the wire guide. It enables the wire reel to be changed quickly, even in poor visibility conditions. The light switches on automatically when the protective flap is opened. In addition to smart cooling with integrated overheating protection, the inverter has a synergistic wire feed. The speed of the wire feed is automatically regulated by the set welding current. A powerful 4-roller drive ensures reliable wire feed and transports even thicker welding wires continuously and safely. The versatile arc welder can process wire rolls from 0.5 to 5 kg.

Functions

Spot welding function: Particularly suitable in the automotive sector for thin body parts. As a result, the tacking points are precisely reproducible and uniform.
MIG pulse: The pulse function keeps the heat input low and enables the welding of aluminum. CuSi soldering can also be implemented in the aluminum-silicon program.
MIG / MAG gas metal arc welding with direct current (DC): Welding can be carried out with inactive/inert (MIG, e.g. argon) or active (MAG, e.g. CO²) gases. Gas and welding wire come from one torch head and enable welding work to be carried out with just one hand.
Flux-cored wire capable: All our devices can use flux-cored wire. This enables welding without shielding gas.
MMA welding with electrodes as a universal welding process without the use of shielding gas.
Lift TIG: With a separately available hose package (not included in the scope of delivery), the device can also be used for DC TIG welding (brush ignition).
Various welding parameters easily adjustable: The welding machine is suitable for precise welding of thin sheet metal as well as sheet metal and stainless steel. Thanks to the pulse function, the welding machine is also suitable for aluminum.
Fully synergic welding machine: The voltage (volts) and wire feed are always adjusted to suit the set welding current. This makes the machine very easy to use, especially for beginners.

Features & advantages

IGBT technology: The latest and most modern transistor technology enables maximum performance and a high duty cycle (ED)! No transformer, no MOSFET, state-of-the-art IGBT!
Preflow / gas preflow: Thanks to the gas preflow, the shielding gas flow starts before the arc is ignited. This prevents the workpiece from coming into contact with air at the start of welding. This protects the weld seam from oxidation. The gas lead time can be set individually depending on the welding requirements.
Lightweight & compact design: Only 10.6 kg weight and dimensions of 470 x 210 x 350 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No more heavy carrying!
Highest efficiency & performance: Single-phase alternating current (230 V) supplies the welding machine and allows an output power of real 200 amps.
Smart cooling & overheating protection: State-of-the-art technology, integrated overheating protection and high-performance cooling enable maximum power to be called up.
4-roller drive: Reliable and powerful wire feed. Thanks to 4 drive rollers, even thicker wires are fed continuously and safely.
Digital display: The set welding parameters can be easily read on a clear digital display. The various modes can be set quickly using the intuitive menu.
LED lighting: As a special highlight, the welding machine has an integrated LED light to illuminate the wire guide, which enables the wire reel to be changed quickly even in poor visibility conditions. This is switched on automatically when the protective flap is opened.

Wire spool use: Commercially available wire spools from 0.5 to 5 kg can be processed. The universal spool mandrel can accommodate both 16 mm and 50 mm spools.
Different wire thicknesses from 0.6 mm to 0.8 mm can be used by simply changing the wire drive rolls. By changing to the 1.0 mm and 1.2 mm drive rollers with 'U' profile, aluminum wire can be used efficiently.
ST-Guard housing: Ergonomic, robust and reliable. The control panel is easily accessible and intuitive to operate.
VRD (Voltage Reduction Device): Manual on/off VRD function allows the output voltage of the welding machine to be reduced to a safe level to protect the operator when touching the electrode while not welding.

Note: The device is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied via a public low-voltage supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
