The STAHLWERK ARC 200 MD Digital is an exceptionally compact and lightweight DC electrode welding machine designed for universal MMA/manual arc welding. With a welding current range of 10–200 A, it covers a wide range of applications in repair, assembly, and workshop settings. Thanks to its single-board design and the latest generation of IGBT technology, the unit delivers stable welding currents with high thermal stability. The set welding parameters can be easily read on the clear digital display: The various modes can be quickly adjusted via the intuitive menu. Hot Start, Anti-Stick, and ARC-Force ensure a clean start and a stable process: Hot Start aids ignition, Anti-Stick prevents the electrode from sticking by automatically reducing the current, and ARC Force stabilizes the arc at short arc lengths and increases penetration—particularly helpful with cellulose and basic electrodes. In addition, the VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) function can be manually activated to reduce the open-circuit output voltage to a safe level when welding is not in progress. The appropriate welding current is automatically preset based on material thickness and electrode diameter. Manual readjustment deactivates the function. In combination with the optionally available STAHLWERK WP-17V welding torch, this versatile inverter welder can be converted into a TIG welder with Lift-TIG (contact ignition)—ideal for precision work on steel and stainless steel. Smart cooling, intelligent temperature control (demand-driven fan), and protection functions against overheating and overload, together with the robust ST-Guard housing, ensure high operational reliability and durability.
