Functions
- MIG/MAG gas-shielded arc welding (GMAW): MIG with inert gas (e.g. argon) and MAG with active gas (e.g. CO₂ or mixed gas) for unalloyed and low-alloy steels; wire and gas come out of the torch together, ideal for productive work with just one hand. The device can also be used to solder CuSi3 wire.
- FLUX/flux cored arc welding without gas (FCAW): MIG/MAG-like process with special flux cored electrode, in which the flux core provides gas protection - ideal for outdoor work and draughts.
- MMA/E-hand welding (ARC): Manual electrode welding with direct current (20-160 A) for robust repair and assembly work, even in hard-to-reach places. Can be used universally indoors and outdoors, even in windy conditions and on construction sites.
- DC lift TIG welding (TIG with contact ignition): Lift TIG mode with optional WP-17V torch: ignition by briefly brushing the tungsten electrode, smooth DC arc for clean, controlled seams on steel and stainless steel.
- Fully synergic device: The wire feed speed automatically adjusts to the set welding current and voltage. The wire is fed from the reel through the hosepack to the contact tip. The automatic adjustment of the welding current reduces operating errors and produces uniform seams.
- Hotstart and anti-stick: Hotstart briefly increases the voltage for better ignition, anti-stick reduces the current in the event of a short circuit so that the electrode does not burn out and can be easily detached.
- Electronic safety control: Modern IGBT inverter technology, overheating protection with control LED, smart cooling via powerful fan and ergonomic ST-Guard housing with easily accessible control panel ensure safe and efficient work.
Functions
- Versatile 5-in-1 professional for workshop and assembly: One device for MIG/MAG, FLUX, MMA and Lift-TIG - ideal when space is limited in the workshop or service vehicle, but different processes are required.
- High mobility, low weight: With only approx. 6.8 kg and compact dimensions of 400 × 155 × 290 mm, the device is easy to transport and can be used flexibly at different work locations.
- Optimum duty cycle: 15 % duty cycle at 160 A, 60 % at 80 A and 100 % at 62 A (MIG/MAG/TIG/MMA, 40 °C) enable both short, high-performance seams in the upper current range and longer welding jobs in the medium power range.
- Clean results with shielding gas or cored wire: MIG/MAG with shielding gas delivers smooth, low-spatter seams, while FLUX cored wire does not require an external gas cylinder - particularly practical for outdoor and mobile applications.
- Robust ST-Guard housing and smart cooling: The ergonomic housing protects the electronics, while ventilation openings and fans ensure effective cooling and enable the maximum duty cycle to be utilized.
- Easy handling thanks to digital display: Clearly structured front with process and wire gauge selection, digital current/voltage display and switching function make it easy to quickly adjust the parameters. Settings can be made quickly, which saves time, especially when frequently switching between processes (e.g. MIG and MMA).

- Wire spool - Standard 1-kg wire spools can be used here. The spool mandrel can accommodate 16-mm spools.
- Wire feed roller—by simply changing the feed roller, different wire diameters can be used (0.6 mm / 0.8 mm / 1.0 mm).
- MMA Electrode Welding / MMA Welding – is a universal welding process. No shielding gas is required.
- Lift TIG—With a separately available (not included) hose kit, the unit can also be used for DC TIG welding (strike-on-load).
Note: The unit is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied via a public low-voltage power grid. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
