Device functions & components
- DC TIG Welding - Direct Current (DC). Welding of almost all metals, such as steel, stainless steel, copper and many more. Note: Not suitable for aluminum - this requires an AC/DC unit.
- Plasma / CUT - A plasma jet is generated by means of current, which melts the material, which is then removed with compressed air. In this way, all conductive metals such as standard steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, titanium and many more can be cut precisely without any effort.
- Cut thickness - cut-offs are possible up to 12 mm depending on the material. Mild steel ST37 up to 12 mm, V2A or V4A up to 8 mm, aluminum up to 5 mm.
- 3 in 1 combination unit - TIG & MMA welding is possible up to 200A, plasma cutting up to 50A.
- IGBT Technology - Latest and most advanced transistor technology enables high power welding! No transformer, no MOSFET, state of the art IGBT!
- Lightweight & compact design - only 7.5kg weight and dimensions of 420 x 180 x 290mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to old MOSFET technology. No more heavy carrying!
- Attention - Bottle connection: W21.8 x 1/14" - Gas cylinders from the Netherlands and the UK may have a different connection! Please check the connections for compatibility before buying!
Device features & advantages
- HF Ignition (TIG) - provides non-contact ignition and gives a much better welding result. No LIFT ARC, no strike ignition!
- Contact Ignition (CUT) - High frequency (HF) contact ignition for first class ignition performance. A brush over the workpiece is sufficient.
- Cutting current (CUT) - Stepless adjustment from 15 to 50 A.
- Air after-run (CUT) - After cutting is complete, air flows in to cool the torch and reduce nozzle and electrode wear.
- Gas after-run (TIG) - protects the tungsten electrode from excessive wear and protects the weld from oxidation. The parameter can be set individually and separately. It specifies how long gas should flow after ignition.
- Hotstart - Automatic voltage increase at start-up for better ignition results.
- Anti-stick - Automatic shutdown of the welding current when the electrode sticks allows easy removal.
- Highest Efficiency & Power - Single phase AC power (230V) supplies the unit and allows output power of true 200 amps.
- Smart Cooling & Overheat Protection - State-of-the-art technology, built-in overheat protection and high-performance cooling allow maximum power to be retrieved.
- TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) - Gas shielded welding with inert/inactive gases such as Argon 4.6 (99.996%). The glowing, non-melting tungsten electrode melts the workpiece and allows the addition of the filler metal, which forms the weld.
- MMA electrode welding / ARC welding - a universal welding process. An arc melts the electrode, forming the weld. No shielding gas is required.
- Note:/strong>The device is not intended for use in residential areas where the power supply is provided by a public low-voltage supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
- The connection may vary depending on the rod electrode. Therefore, please observe the connection specification of the type of rod electrode used! When welding common DC electrodes, the connection is made as shown on the welding device. When processing DC+ electrodes, the connections must be exchanged.
