Manufactured with an extremely hard titanium aluminum nitride (TiAlN) coating, the HSS step drills master every challenge. The precision-ground taper drills reliably drill into the metal to be machined. Due to the resistant TiAlN coating, the countersink drills are very heat-resistant, wear-resistant and ensure long tool life as well as a long service life. The coated step drills have up to 10 times longer tool life compared to conventional HSS drills and are suitable for alloyed and non-alloyed steels such as cast iron, non-ferrous metals and plastics. Due to their titanium-aluminum-nitride coating, the countersinks have a high hot hardness and oxidation resistance. For safe transport, the metal drills are supplied well sorted in a robust plastic storage box. The different sizes of the tapers are clearly marked on the taper drills themselves. The complete set consists of 5 step drills in different sizes. The cone drill set is particularly suitable for professional use in industry, crafts and DIY.
