Functions
- Flux-cored wire welding (FLUX) - welding without shielding gas. Welding with flux-cored wire is based on a similar process to MIG MAG welding, with the difference that no shielding gas needs to be supplied in this process.
- Synergic wire feed - The wire feed speed is controlled fully automatically via the welding current.
- Digital display - The welding parameters are easy to read on a clear digital display. The various modes can be set quickly using the intuitive menu.
- IGBT technology - State-of-the-art transistor technology of the latest generation enables maximum performance and duty cycle (ED) at full power! No transformer, no MOSFET, state-of-the-art IGBT!
- Lift-TIG - In combination with the STAHLWERK WP-17V welding torch included in the scope of delivery, the versatile inverter welding machine can be converted into a TIG welding machine with Lift-TIG.
- As a special highlight, the welding machine has an integrated LED light to illuminate the wire guide, which enables the wire reel to be changed quickly even in poor visibility conditions. This is switched on automatically when the protective flap is opened.
Features & advantages
- Lightweight & compact design - Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No more heavy carrying!
- Highest efficiency & power - Single-phase AC (230 V) supplies the device and allows an output power of real 140 amps.
- Smart cooling & overheating protection - State-of-the-art technology, integrated overheating protection and high-performance cooling enable maximum output to be achieved.
- Wire spool - Commercially available wire spools from 0.45 kg to 1 kg can be processed here. The spool mandrel can accommodate 16 mm spools.
- Wire drive roller - by simply changing the drive roller from 0.6 mm - 0.8 mm and 0.8 mm - 1.0 mm, different wire thicknesses in the sizes 0.6 mm / 0.8 mm / 0.9 mm / 1.0 mm can be used.
Note: The device is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied via a public low-voltage supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
