
- DC arc welding (MMA/E-hand): MMA/electrode manual metal arc welding is a universal welding process as it can be used under almost all conditions. Various electrodes with different polarities can be connected during MMA/electrode manual metal arc welding.
- DC TIG arc welding (DC TIG): TIG arc welding with direct current. The polarity of the tungsten electrode is either positive or negative during the entire welding process.
- TIG pulse welding: In TIG pulse welding, a base current and a high pulse current of the same polarity are added at regular intervals to optimize the arc properties for the desired welding applications. This avoids the risk of burn-through in thin materials and reduces the deformation of the material caused by the heat.
- AC TIG arc welding (AC TIG): TIG arc welding with alternating current. The polarity of the electrode alternates between positive and negative during the entire welding process. Mainly used for welding aluminum and aluminum alloys.
- AC TIG pulse welding: With AC TIG pulse welding, the pulse and AC current modes are mixed, allowing an even more perfect welding result to be achieved.
- Spot function: An integrated spot function is used for spot welding thin sheets and body parts.
- Job memory: Memory option for self-configured settings / presets. Numerous memory locations are available.
- Anti-stick (MMA): If the electrode sticks to the workpiece, the welding current is automatically reduced. The electrode does not burn out and can be easily detached from the workpiece.

- Hot Start (MMA): Automatic voltage boost at startup for better ignition results. Prevents the stick electrode from sticking by briefly superimposing the set welding current and heats up the start of the weld bead more quickly.
- Hot Start (TIG): The Hot Start function enables a smoother and more stable arc ignition and increases the efficiency of TIG welding. The Hot Start current can be set between 30 and 150 A.

- Gas Pre-flow: Thanks to the gas pre-flow, the shielding gas flow begins before the arc is struck. This prevents the workpiece from coming into contact with air at the start of welding. As a result, the tungsten electrode is protected from excessive wear and the weld bead from oxidation. The gas pre-flow time can be individually adjusted depending on the welding requirements.
- Post-weld gas flow: After the arc extinguishes, the post-weld gas flow cools the tungsten electrode and protects the molten pool from oxidation. The post-weld gas flow duration can be individually adjusted depending on welding requirements.
- Remote control via the torch or foot pedal. The welding current can be conveniently adjusted at any time using the rotary control mounted on the torch. Alternatively, the welding current can also be controlled using our foot pedal (included with the unit).
- Foot Pedal—Remote current control via the foot pedal. The foot control mode offers the advantage of allowing you to adjust the current even during the welding process, giving you various options for performing welding tasks. Pulse function is not available in pedal mode. The maximum current is set on the unit. Set the foot pedal to 10. When the foot pedal is pressed, the unit initiates the weld with a lower current than the value shown on the display. Once the foot pedal is fully depressed, the set maximum current is reached. The value on the display does not change during this process. Examples: Maximum current on display: 100 A / Ignition current via foot pedal: approx. 40 A, Maximum current on display: 150 A / Ignition current via foot pedal: approx. 80 A, Maximum current on display: 200 A / Ignition current via foot pedal: approx. 110 A
- Start current: The current used when the ignition is initiated, before it transitions to the set welding current (4T).
- Welding current: Continuously adjustable welding current.
- Final current: Current that flows at the end of the ignition before the arc extinguishes (4T).
- Current Rise: After the arc is fully ignited, the welding process enters the current rise phase, during which the welding current is increased linearly from the set starting current value to the desired welding current value (4T).
- Current reduction: After the torch button is pressed and released again (4T), the unit enters an automatic current reduction phase. This prevents pitting (end craters) at the end of the weld.

- AC frequency: Depending on the material used, the frequency density of the AC waveform can be optimized. This accelerates the welding performance and improves the shape of the weld seam.
- AC balance: This function can be used to set the positive and negative current cycles for better breaking up of the oxide layer in the horizontal direction during AC TIG welding.
- Cleaning current: The cleaning current is used to break up the oxide layer in the longitudinal direction and to accelerate the molten pool formation.
- Pulse current: The pulse current is a higher welding current that alternates periodically with the lower base current.
- Pulse width: The pulse width is the duration of a single pulse. The pulse width can be used to set the duration of the pulse current.
- Pulse frequency: The pulse frequency determines how often the current alternates between the set pulse and base current values in a defined period of time.
