The STAHLWERK AC/DC WIG 315 Puls Pro is a water-cooled TIG inverter welder designed for professional applications using both direct and alternating current. It delivers 5–315 A in TIG mode and 30–270 A for MMA/electrode welding and is suitable for industrial, metal fabrication, workshop, and trade applications. The machine supports DC TIG, AC TIG, DC and AC TIG pulse welding, as well as MMA/manual arc welding. AC mode enables welding of aluminum and aluminum alloys. AC frequency, AC balance, and cleaning current can be precisely adjusted to the material, oxide layer, and desired bead shape. For AC operation, square, triangular, trapezoidal, and sine waves are available. In pulse welding, the pulse current, base current, pulse width, and pulse frequency can be individually adjusted. This allows for control of heat input and reduces the risk of burn-through or warping. The digital control panel and central rotary knob allow for convenient adjustment of gas pre-flow, hot start, start current, current rise, welding current, current reduction, final current, and gas post-flow. Ten memory slots allow you to save frequently used parameters. In addition to 2T and 4T operation, the unit offers spot and repeat welding functions in spot mode. The contactless HF ignition ensures a clean arc start. Lift-TIG is also available as an alternative. The welding current can be controlled using a suitable foot pedal via the three-pin remote control connection. The CT-500 cooling system is controlled directly by the welding machine. With 1.6 kW of cooling capacity, a 5-liter tank volume, and a flow rate of up to 8 l/min, it ensures reliable cooling of the torch and hose assembly. An integrated flow monitor reports malfunctions in the coolant circuit via the display. Modern IGBT technology and pulse width modulation (PWM) ensure efficient and stable welding performance. Hot Start and Anti-Stick support MMA welding. The robust ST-Guard housing, powerful fan cooling, and transport cart with gas cylinder holder, cable holder, and storage surface enable reliable professional use in industrial settings or for demanding metal fabrication work.
